Feeling Down Lately?

As Coco Chanel very well said, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street. Fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Today, I decided to do a little not-so-typical OOTD post to share my love and passion for film, style, and fashion. A black dress can be worn virtually everywhere; it is a chameleon in disguise. It is protected by a dark and rugged hue of facade, yet it still manages to stay resilient. For the new year, I am aiming to be more like this little black dress; strong yet multifaceted.
Happy 2015 everyone! Please enjoy watching!

3 Ways to Style with Glasses for the Fall

As one of my favorite people in the world, Rachael Zoe, had very well said, “style is a way of having to say who you are without having to speak.” This is one of the many, many reasons why I love fashion. Fashion is one so vague, it encompasses many meanings, feelings, emotions, and personalities.
Today, I am bringing you three different outfit ideas for the bold, the semi-professional or polished professional, and those who really mean business. I am partnering with *Warby Parker to show you how you can spice up your fall/autumn outfits and style with glasses.

FOR THE BOLD

To those who take risks, who boldly try on new things, and who aren’t afraid to stay true to their color, here’s a fun and bright outfit idea for the fall. To top off this look, wear a crystal pair of glasses. I recommend Coley Crystal from Warby Parker’s new Fall 2014 collection

FOR THE POLISHED & SEMI-PROFESSIONAL

For those who want to look polished and put together, but still look somewhat laid-back, here’s the perfect outfit for you for the fall season. For a polished look, top this look off with a pair of glasses, such as the Greenleaf Whiskey Tortoise from the same collection. These frames will give a professional feel with a hint of playfulness. Rock those bad boys out!

Featuring:
Shirt: H&M
Jacket: H&M
Leggings: H&M
Shoes: ZARA
Handbag: NineWest
Glasses: Warby Parker

FOR THOSE WHO MEAN BUSINESS

For those who really mean business, here’s an outfit that will surely leave you in command. The mid-length skirt will give you a touch of professionalism while the blazer will make it look fashionable and trendy. As for accessories, go with some neutral ones, like these heels from Steve Madden and this handbag for a classic look. And of course, who could forget those CEO-easque frames (yeah, I just made that word up). Here I’m using Annette Petal Tortoise from the new Warby Parker collection.Recommended place to shop: New York and Co.Featuring:Skirt: NEW YORK & CO.Camisole: NEW YORK & CO.Shoes: Steve MaddenHandbag: NineWestGlasses: Warby Parker
For more information and more glasses of this collection, visit Warby Parker. They’re available online, and in stores and showrooms. You could also spice things up, and mix and match these accessories! Have fun, framing.
After all, Billy Wilder once said, “I have ten commandments. The first nine are, thou shalt not bore.”
What are your thoughts about these outfits and/or Warby Parker’s new colleciton?
